At your first visit to Red Deer Dental Hygiene Studio, you will be asked to fill out a health and dental history that we will review together.
If you have dental insurance please bring it with you.
Scaling and Root Planing (debridement)
aka Conventional Periodontal Therapy
Your dental hygiene cleaning will involve the removal of harmful hard and soft deposits on your teeth, also known as tartar, calculus, and plaque.
Dental Polishing/Prophy
After scaling and root planing is completed, a polish is recommended to remove the remaining biofilm and surface staining.

Fluoride Application
Fluoride is applied to the teeth after the polish to help remineralize the teeth and protect against cavities.

Our dental cleaning fees are approximately 10-15% less than the AB Dental Association suggested fee guide prices. Great Dental Hygiene care doesn’t have to come with a large price tag.
